Holiday shopping in Historic Roscoe Village is a joyful experience! There’s free, on-street parking and no hectic traffic. Stroll the brick sidewalks of this charming Ohio-Erie Canal town. Relax and wander among the white twinkle- lit trees, stop for a glass of wine or enjoy a delicious meal. Find unique items, many made in Ohio. From handmade leather goods, wrought iron, locally made American flags, old fashioned candy, fine fashion and jewelry, home decor,Vera Bradley and organic treats for your furry friends, the famous shops of Roscoe Village are the place to be this holiday season.

Coshocton County is also home to many things “antique and unique!” There are many eclectic shops featuring handmade and salvaged items, antiques and collectibles. Be sure to visit Main Street in Coshocton for the fabulous Antique Mall, Treasure Hunt and Goodwill stores. Also in town are Rust Décor, The Rusty Olde Crow and C&M Collectibles, Cozy Cottage and The Grainery.

The Three Rivers Wine Trail offers scenic locations and delicious wines at its six wineries, all within a short drive of each other. New to the trail is Hasseman Brewing, the first craft brewery in Coshocton. The perfect place for a lazy afternoon or weekend getaway, you’ll discover live music, special holiday events and charming  places to stay.  The Coshocton Village Inn and Suites offers two different Wine Packages as well.  

Roscoe Village hosts their annual Christmas Candlelighting Ceremonies on two Saturdays in December on the 2nd & 9th. Throughout the day there will be special activities including horse drawn carriage rides and carolers. Children and adults will enjoy singing along to favorite carols, listening to a special story and seeing the huge tree’s light sparkling during the 6 P.M. ceremony. With prior reservations, enjoy the Roscoe Christmas Tour, led by guides carrying candle-lit lanterns.  

Lake Park’s annual Holiday Bazaar will be held on November 24 in the beautifully decorated Lake Park Pavilion, the Coshocton Community Choir Christmas Festival Concert is on December 3; and the drive-through Live Nativity experience at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle is  December 8, 9 & 10. A live theater production of “The Game’s Afoot” also takes place at the Triple Locks Theater the first three weekends of December. While you’re here, be sure to see the special exhibit of World War I posters at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, home of the famous Newark Holy Stones.
