Monticello III Canal Boat Rides

The Monticello III Canal Boat Coshocton Ohio

Everyone loves meeting Rock & Bill and Willie & Sallie, the huge draft horse teams that pull the canal boat along an original section of the Ohio and Erie Canal. Travelers on the (seasonal) 45-minute canal boat ride are also entertained by the lively Canal Boat Captain as he explains 1800s life on the canal with tall tales and history, creating the feeling of actually gliding right into the 1830s.

Be entertained by the Canal Boat Captain as he explains 1800s life on the canal. You'll hear tall tales and a lot of history told in first person so you'll feel like you've actually glided right into the 1830s. You might even get to assist the helmsman in steering the canal boat while on your journey.

The canal boat is seasonal and is unable to run during heavy wind/rain/storms.

It is a good idea to take mosquito repellent with you.
