Coshocton Lake Park has many miles of paved walking/bicycle trails.  Commonly called the "Towpath" many of these trails follow the original towpath of the historic Ohio-Erie canal.  The trail connects Lake Park, Historic Roscoe Village, and the Monticello Canal Boat ride and crosses over the Walhonding River via a rebuilt replica of the Aqueduct Bridge which carried the canal boats high above the river current.  Other sightings along the walkpath are "Lock 27", the original sandstone canal boat locks which have since been turned into beautiful gardens and 2 river basins that were once water sources for the canal.
