Clothing and costume emergencies can happen at the drop of a hat! This workshop will teach you basic sewing skills that can come in handy in everyday life, but most importantly backstage before, during, or after a show. We will cover sewing on buttons and closures, basic hemmings stitches, quick repairs of seams and tears, and what items to include in your emergency sewing kit. You will be provided with instructional handouts and basic materials for hands-on activities.
